Love and War, Chapter 4
Chapter 4 "Are you sure you want to go to school today?" Rosie asked the next day, it once again was pouring down and Polly found it a little funny that the weather always matched how she was feeling, if only she could cry as much as the sky was right now. "Yeah mum, I can't stay at home forever, besides this will be a good distraction from Matt." Polly woundered what Matt would be doing, if he would be fighting yet or possibly even still on the plane, as long as Matt was alive Polly remained a little happy. "Well it looks like you must have been distracted when you were getting changed this morning Polly." Rosie looked down at her daughters outfit and so did Polly. "Oh shot I didn't even notice, that was pretty silly of me." Pollys pants were inside out; Rosie knew from the past seventeen years of being around Polly that when ever she didn't dress correctly she had her mind else where, Rosie knew that Pollys mind was haf way across the globe with Matt. "Look sweetheart I think it is best that you take the day off." Polly agreed, if she couldn't even put her pants on correctly then she wasn't ready to face school again. Polly walked up to her room and changed her pants around, finally she was dressed normal, though she did quickly check to see if any more clothes were on wrong. Just as Polly was about to walk out of the door again she got a text message, it was probably from Jess. A few minutes passed and Rosie thought she should check to see if Polly was alright, she slowly opened the door and seen Polly lying on the floor, in a puddle of tears. "Whats wrong darling?" Rosie couldn't help but notice that Pollys phone was in her hand, slowly Rosie went and picked it up and seen what must have caused the puddle of tears, it was a photo of Polly and Matt.
